South mega star Rajinikanth has been admitted to a hospital again. He’s said to be recovering well.

For the third time in a span of a few days, Rajinikanth has been hospitalized again, this time to Sri Ramachandra Medical University (SRMU) at suburban Porur in Chennai. He is being treated for a recurrent respiratory infection and gastrointestinal problems.

According to a statement released by SRMU, the superstar is doing well.

“He is in a ward (not Intensive Care Unit) and has been progressing well. He has been advised complete rest by the doctors attending on him,” said a heath bulletin issued by SRMU on Sunday.

A few days before being admitted to SRMU on Saturday night, Rajinikanth was discharged from another hospital where he was treated for allergic bronchitis and viral fever.

There was even a rumour of Rajinikanth’s death, which was strongly denied by his family.

The superstar is now being advised complete rest by the doctors. He’s unlikely to resume the shooting of Rana soon. It was on the mahurat day ofRana that he first fell ill.
