Could better to do without power in the NBA New Jersey? LeBron James seems to think so, told reporters last week that the NBA is today, "cut" and the league would be better if the young stars currently losing teams like the power plug once played for the winners.
On Sunday, said the networks' coach Avery Johnson. "I do not agree. Perhaps the league would be better if it has three stars on a computer. Who knows? I disagree with this comment."
James made his comments before the Miami Heat at Phoenix Suns Thursday, the defense of the contraction, while at the same time to deny the use of the word.
"We hope the league, where one day to the situation he was in the 80s, when he again three or four All-Stars, three or four stars, three or four Hall of Fame on the same team" James said .. "The championship was great, not like it because it had more (All-Star) players from a team which provided that almost all parties irrigated -. Not just a Christmas Day game, not just a Halloween game."
James said later. "Imagine if you could be Kevin Love, Minnesota, and paste it to another computer or look at some teams that are not so great, Brook Lopez or Devin Harris to take the teams that are now not so good and add a team that could be really good. I'm not saying that we in New Jersey, we take Minnesota in the league. But hey, you're not stupid. I'm not stupid. I know it would be great for the league. "
What about comments from the love James? Not much, apparently. "It's something he said," told the Associated Press. "I do not really pay much attention to him. I told myself that when the time of the CBA (collective agreement), the owners and players and all those who make their decision. I do not think anything really big."
even if David Stern has admitted that this is not a scenario - the possibility of contraction (because of course the reduction of potential jobs for the players) has been a sticking point in the debate on ABC likely.
Johnson, who personally recruited James to the Nets signed in July, had not heard of James closely and refused to answer in depth. "I have great respect for him," said Johnson. "We have met the man. The man saw (a) face to face. I'm just going by what you say (to the comments of his contract). I have not heard anything.
"Whenever I always greet each other with LeBron. Pass, a discussion we should have. I'm not on the cliff, because some comments that do not know the exact sound of it."
Take time before James Johnson and collected in basketball - theheat not travel to New Jersey to 3 April. In any case, Johnson was a reminder that the contraction of the last that is added to the heads of the networks.
"We are not here yet, but we have somewhere to go," said Johnson. "And we go to Brooklyn. We do not rent. We go to Brooklyn."
