Big Love actress Ginnifer Goodwin, longtime friend Joey Kern was a surprise Christmas gift for friends and family.
The couple, who is two years old, are engaged and planning a wedding in the fall of 2011.
According to a report in People magazine, the core, 34, proposed to the actress 32 years, earlier this month designed and sealed the deal with an engagement ring it.
Core is best for the 2003 film "Cabin Fever" and known as "Grind". Goodwin plays Margene on the success of HBO on a polygamist Mormon family and had a role in "It's just not that into you."
