Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong announced the line-up for the new cabinet on Wednesday, with Law Minister K. Shanmugam also taking up the post of foreign minister to replace George Yeo.
Deputy Prime Minister Wong Kan Seng, National Development Minister Mah Bow Tan and Transport Minister Raymond Lim will be leaving the cabinet.
The closely-watched reshuffle came after the ruling People's Action Party retained its absolute majority in the parliament but lost a group representation constituency for the first time.
The new cabinet will be sworn into office by President S R Nathan on Saturday.
