Screen Actors Guild Awards
Will the big winner at the SAG Awardstonight be "The Fighter," "The King's Speech" or "The Social Network"?
The Screen Actor's Guild Awards is the only televised award show that focuses on honoring performers exclusively. So why should we put so much stock in tonight's ceremony? Because the SAG Awards tend to predict the Oscarswith about 75 percent accuracy.
Being that the above films are up for the grand prize -- Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture -- whoever wins is a strong indicator of who'll snag a Best Picture Oscar in February.
Actor Ernest Borgnine will receive SAG's most prestigious accolade---the Screen Actors Guild Life Achievement Award for career achievement and humanitarian accomplishment.
The ceremony will air live on TNT and TBS from 8-10 p.m. EST
