The boy bands took over the plaza in New York City on Friday! New Kids on the Block and the Backstreet Boys were welcomed by screaming fans as they performed their big hits from the ’90s and early ’2000s on theTODAY show!
NKOTB came out first, dressed in fancy matching military-esque costumes. The group went with an audience favorite, performing “The Right Stuff.” Up next was BSB!
Brian Littrell, Nick Carter, A. J. McLean and Howie Dorough sang their hit “Larger Than Life.” The boy bands, who now call themselves NKOTBSB, are currently on a national tour through July 15.
In other New Kid news, Joey McIntyre added a little member to his brood this week! The singer and his wifeBarrettwelcomed a baby girl on Tuesday. “Kira Katherine McIntyre was born May 31st at 12:30 pm PST. 7 lbs., 3 oz., 21 in. A beautiful baby girl with great timing and gorgeous hair,” McIntyre Tweeted.
