Film Review: Despite the cliché, "Small furniture absurd comedy
Writer-director-star Lena Dunham makes a lot with very little in this comedy, which recently received three nominations for the Independent Spirit Awards.
Dunham plays Will, a recent college graduate, the home, without the slightest idea how to go back with his life. She returned with her mother and photographer (Laurie Simmons, Lena's mother in real life) and the sister school (Grace Dunham, Lena's sister in real life) in the attic of the family Tribeca (played by real life attic of the family of the Tribeca).
Aura supports a dead end job, parties with her friend Charlotte difficult (Jemima Kirke) and losses due to a non-sexual relationship with a man (Alex Karpovsky) called Freeload in the apartment of his family.
Dunham endless plot of graduates is one of the oldest clichés indie film (immortalized by the Graduate School of Film no experience of life), and sometimes they obviously had to Woody Allen.
But Dunham a painter's eye for composition (with the help of Jody Lee Lipes photography) and a sense of humor is wonderfully absurd.
