Be fully involved and learn all aspects of the business. When I started my business, including the new powers were a lot of sweat.

There were times when I had to help the solder. But learning to weld, not only the respect of my team, but it would be in a position to say whether welding work is not done well.
The maintenance and growth management:
My advice is to look at cash flow. In the recent recession, credit crunch that banks make it difficult for some companies to operate and almost impossible to obtain new business opportunities.
Other constraints faced by business operators in general. How good draw for people to work and keep most of all?
In the case of Hyflux, we see many opportunities in markets where we operate. The challenge for us has always been human capital constraints. To remedy this, we expect to arise in the foreign based team and the creation of our key markets.
Breaking China:
When I started in China, my youth was a disadvantage. I realized after knocking on doors, many Chinese do not know a young man in the company. Then he asked a Chinese man of sixty years at the helm of the company.
In China, the continued solid virtues of patience and perseverance. You need to demonstrate their continued commitment. For example, although we are innovative seawater desalination plant in Tianjin Dagang October 2005, it was not until 2006 that most construction has begun.
The project was originally an industrial park in Tianjin to serve, but was delayed. At that time there were plans for a petrochemical plant built and therefore took the opportunity to provide desalinated water for their operations.
Only when all necessary steps, including the water purchase contract with the desalination project in Tianjin Dagang had been accelerated, and we have installed in less than two years.
