A federal appeals court heard arguments on Monday to ban gay marriage in California besieged Proposition 8 to see in an attempt to see if the problem could reach the Supreme Court, despite previous decisions that were the proceedings under blackout broadcast seen on C-SPAN for everyone.

Proponents of Proposition 8 is appealing a decision of a judge in Federal District Court that the ban is unconstitutional. In the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Center in West Hollywood, a good man watching the case, Matt Walker, said the hearing was fascinating. "No one on either side of a pass, the judge was asked very detailed questions. " Questions like these: Judge Michael Hawkins called Proposition 8 supporter lawyer Charles Cooper: "If you have a large number of rights, which is bad, but if you remove one thing very well."?

The lawyers argue in favor of Proposition 8 argued that same-sex couples can be treated differently from opposite pairs, for "sexual relations between men and women as natural children." Opposition lawyers argue that the prohibition of equal treatment of gay and lesbian rights violation.

Although there is no immediate decision and without ETA for a decision, we are waiting on the edge of our seats as we have been waiting a long, long time ago.
