Visitors to the new center Bedok Point, with nothing on Thursday, not many shops open.
The six-story shopping center - the first 37 years on the farm - had put on its soft opening on Thursday despite little advertising, many curious buyers.
Many were residents who had expected the opening of the shopping center of 81,000 square meters. It is scheduled to open in October.
But not long remain, because there were fewer than 20 of the 75 tenants ready for business. These include Pasta Mania Restaurant, traditional Chinese medicine, Eu Yan Sang and Pet Lovers Centre. Many units in the mall and even those that we were open, yet refined.
Mr Ghazali Ibrahim, 35, service manager of the hotel, said: "We were waiting to open the shopping center, but it's just disappointing, it's still a little dust and the smell of paint smell.".
A spokesman said Bedok point: "While some tenants are completing their workshops at least 70 percent of the shops in Bedok point will be ready for the opening this weekend.
